Clay Creature Reflection (8-D)
1) The goods about my project are the wings and eyes. Because the wings are different and shaped very well. They eyes because I made them stand out. That was my point of emphasis.
2) I think I could have done better with the body shape. Because I didn't put a tail on it.
3) I chose a penguin theme. Because I think that they are cute also it was a simple design for the first time using clay.
4) The form of my penguin is short, a little bit bigger than an apple. It is fat in the bottom half and the roundness is the size of a cake donut.
5) The eyes are my point of emphasis. Because I thought that it would be cute with big eyes.
6) I learned that there isnt always going to be someone there to help you. That you have to try and figure out things on your own in life. Also use your time wisely when you are given the time.
7) First I kneaded the clay. Then I played around with the clay for a couple days trying to figure out what I wanted to do. Then I decided to make a penguin. I formed the body and then made the wings. I then made the eyes and beak at the same time. I then scuplt all the pieces together and molded them together with the slip clay.
8) Yes, I think that this was a worthwhile project. Because we got to do something we haven't before. The next time using clay to be here and help us go through or have a sub that has worked with clay.
